About us
Founded in 1983, Bibó is one of ELTE’s oldest colleges for advanced studies. Our members study at the university’s Faculty of Law. We bring together academic learning, a close community and social responsibility.
Small-group courses and research complement university studies, giving students opportunities to explore their interests and learn from academics and practising professionals.
Learning and community
Our six academic workshops cover criminal law, civil law, legal theory, public law, international and European law, and political science. Students deepen their knowledge through courses, research papers, discussions, lectures and conferences.
Members also shape the life of the college. Student teams organise activities, and the community makes its most important decisions at general assemblies. Cultural events, sports, trips and shared traditions are part of everyday life at Bibó.
Social responsibility is the third pillar of our work, alongside academic excellence and community. We encourage students to engage with the world beyond the university.
